Coming Up

The Clackmannan District Brass youth sections are very excited to be performing in a joint concert with the touring Hornorkestrið á Skúlatrøð band from the Faroe Islands.

The Hornorkestrið á Skúlatrøð school Brass Band was formed just two and a half years ago as part of a project to revive the British Brass Band tradition in Klaksvík, the second largest Faroese town. The players are all between 10 and 12 years of age, and have only been playing for a short time!
This trip to Scotland is something that they know will inspire the young players for many years to come, and they all hope to make new musical friends on their travels!
