Clackmannan Brass Ensemble

at Sterling Mills

Playing at Sterling Mills

Christmas 2007

If you are a brass player and would like to gain more playing experience then our band is the place you want to be!

The Ensemble features players of all ages, from youngsters just starting out to adults passing on their musical knowledge. The music played by the band features pieces from all musical eras .... from the 16th Century to the present day, from Susato to Santana! Ideally, you should be the equivalent of Grade 2/3 Associated Board or above.

Past players have used the ensemble to start playing again, moving on to the full brass band when lips and fingers are ready to meet the challenge. Parents are welcome to try their musical skills, staying to take part rather than just dropping their youngsters off.

The band rehearsals are in the band room of Clackmannan District Brass Band on a Thursday evening from 7:00pm until 8:30pm.

There is also a junior section for beginners from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Lessons are available for people with no previous brass playing experience
